About me


Until my retirement in 2008, I taught quilting lessons in Australia and overseas. I wrote books about quilting and designed quilt projects for magazines.

I also created art quilts, culminating in the Tarot Project which is featured on this website.

Now I am retired, I make art quilts and bed quilts for my family.  My blog

In 2009 I was invited to create a quilt for Bernina to launch their latest machine. The quilt became part of a collection of textile art pieces to travel for 2 years. To my surprise and delight, Jenny Haskins, best known for publishing Creative Expressions, published a book with all the entries and this is what she wrote about me:
